3 Reasons to Host A Cookie Decorating Class This Fall!

It’s Fall Y’all!

Hey there bakers ! It's that time of year when the leaves put on their vibrant show, and everything starts smelling like cinnamon and coziness. What better way to embrace the fall vibes than by hosting a cookie decorating class? Let's dig into three reasons to host a cookie decorating class this Fall!

1. Welcome Fall:

Fall is like a warm hug from your favorite sweater, and it deserves a cookie celebration, right? which is why hosting a cookie class welcoming the season is the perfect way to launch in the fall season with a "Hello Fall" theme. And if you’re looking for a theme to teach this fall I created an easy to follow class guide that you can snag totally free ! It includes a hoodie, triple stacked pumpkin and the cutest little maple leaf all while using the perfect color pallet that shifts from summer to fall. You can find the free class template and step by step tutorials here ! This theme is all about saying "hello" to fall with cookies that make you smile.

2. Spooky Halloween Magic:

Halloween is the season of all things spooky and scrumptious. Our second reason to host a cookie class this fall is all about diving into the world of Halloween cookie decorating, where the spookier, the better! Challenge your cookie artists to channel their inner witches and wizards with cookies shaped like ghosts, jack-o'-lanterns, and black cats. Set up a palette of icing colors that scream Halloween—think midnight black, ghostly white, and pumpkin orange. And let's not forget the creepy add-ons: edible googly eyes, licorice laces, and ghoulish sprinkles! Hosting a Halloween-themed cookie class is the perfect way to get into the spooky spirit while having a hauntingly good time.

3. Thanksgiving:

As Thanksgiving approaches, it's all about family, food, giving thanks and pie of course. Our third reason to host a cookie class this fall is to celebrate thanksgiving! By the time November roles around the air always seems to have a chill in it and people are starting to full embrace the holiday season. The crop tops and white claws of summer have been fully swapped for chunky sweaters, pumpkin spice and fall baking ! I love teaching a class around thanksgiving because often times people have company coming from out of town and their are looking for something they can do together. And this gives friends and family an activity the can do together other than drinking beer and watching football ( not that their is anything wrong with that…. I just can’t do it all day LOL). And a thanksgiving theme is all about sharing moments with the people you love and what sweeter way than a cookie class!

Conclusion:

Fall is the perfect season to start teaching cookie decorating classes. Whether you're welcoming the season with our free "Hello Fall Class," getting your spooky on for Halloween, or savoring the moments of gratitude during Thanksgiving, its the perfect time to teach your very first class.
